we still talk to our spouse.
We might ask where something might be.
We might just say "I love you."
"I miss you".
Perhaps we ask "why".
I am as guilty as the rest of those that lost a spouse.
I spend time talking to her.
I have shed my tears
I think of our good times,
I wonder about the poor times.
What could each of us done differently.
Was she ill or just a couch potato?
When she asked for assistance, it was just part of my job as the husband.
I did not ask why.
The difficulty.
We were of different faiths.
Attended different places of worship.
The following is her answer to me.
I was walking down the street in front of my home
Looking up at the sky and simply chatting with her.
Just a cloudy morning and nothing special.
What I have created is the sun shining through the clouds.
It is not original, but it is a fair representation
of what I viewed one week after I had lost my wife.
The first photo is the sky as it was when I started talking
I looked away and then glanced up and the view had changed.
She was telling me all was well.
She could have been telling me
"I told you so"
I think not.
Simply, she was at home with the Lord and everything was OK.
I chatted at her cross and that lasted about 5 minutes.
I looked back at the house asking myself
if I should go in and grab my camera..
I decided that the view would not last and
looked back at the cross and it had changed.
To me it looked like she was waving "Hi"
I responded with "Hi" back.
I chatted with her for perhaps another 10 minutes
When I walked around a tree to see if I could get another view
the cross was gone.
I returned to my original location and there was nothing
but the original clouds.

She is at home and not in any more pain.
At to the church concepts.
God is more tolerant that most of us wish to believe.
He is merciful and I am happy that he is.
Yes, I had my closure.
I have never seen the sun appearing
through the clouds as I saw them that day.
